Hello! I'm Thalib a final year at the Queen’s University of Belfast. I’m from Sri Lanka and moved to Northern Ireland for university. Moving to NI has been a great experience and I have enjoyed learning about and exploring the region. I love the fact that there is always a friendly smile around the corner.
For my foundation years, I will be moving to the Severn Deanery (Bristol and Bath) and would like to specialise in acute care (but this changes all the time). In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and hope to do a couple more trips before starting F1.
Hi! My name is Taline Zouein and I am currently in my final year at Queen’s University of Belfast. I am from Lebanon but have moved quite a bit. I lived in Lebanon, the UK and the UAE during my school years. I did an undergrad in Exeter in Human Biosciences and took a gap year before starting medicine. The last 5 years in Northern Ireland has been great and I am going to miss it so much.
During my foundation years, I will be moving to Yorkshire and I am hoping to specialise in surgery after F2.
